About Me
I am a photographer based in Hong Kong, currently an undergraduate international student Studying at Arizona State University. I would like to work as a photojournalist after I graduate.
BIO
I don’t have a lot of experience as a photographer, and I don’t feel particularly interested in taking photos until 2019. In 2019, Mass protests erupted after the government tries to pass the extradition bill in My home town hong kong. Protests occurred every week and police were ordered to arrest. Hong Kong has turned into a warzone as tear gas, rubble bullets and real ammunition were fired against protestors. Thousands were arrested and many disappear. To this day Hong Kong is still a puppet working for the Chinese communist government.
I feel obligated to become a journalist because the truth is not always retrieved in Hong Kong. The injustice that is occurring fuels me to become a photojournalist. I hope I could use my lens as a weapon, to expose injustice, corruption, and wrongness in this world.
